Dotykacka Integration with VEXiON cards 2026: 4 Card Types and Multi-Cloud for Multiple Locations
The VEXiON cards integration with Dotykacka enables a fully automatic loyalty program directly at the register. The customer shows a QR code from their phone, the system recognizes them, adds points or stamps, applies a discount, and updates the card. Staff doesn't have to enter anything by hand. The integration is actively used by dozens of businesses, including Bloom Bakery, grão, Pilsners, and many more.
- Automatic processing without manual work
- 4 card types: stamps, cashback, discounts, gift cards
- Multi-Cloud: one program for all your locations
- Setup in 15 minutes
- Works with a Dotykacka license that supports integrations

What's New Compared to April 2025?
We've significantly expanded the integration since launch. If you set it up last year, here's a quick overview of what's changed.
Four card types instead of three. A gift card has been added, using Dotykacka's built-in customer credit. There's also a new option for physical gift cards with pre-generated QR codes that are activated directly at the register.
Multi-Cloud for multiple locations. If you have a bistro and a café, each with its own menu in Dotykacka, you can now link them under a single loyalty program. Customers earn points across all locations onto a single card.
Referral program. Your customers can now invite friends via a personal QR code on their card. When an invited friend makes their first purchase, both automatically receive a reward.
Customer lookup by name or phone. In addition to scanning the QR code, staff can find a customer by typing their name, email, or phone number.
Key takeaway
- Fourth card type: gift card, both digital and physical
- Multi-Cloud: points add up across locations
- Referral program: customers invite friends, rewards flow automatically
How Does the Integration Work at the Register?
The whole process is designed so staff has no extra work. If you can use Dotykacka, you can handle the VEXiON cards integration.
Step by Step: What Happens on Every Purchase
Step 1: The customer arrives at the register. They open Apple Wallet or Google Wallet on their phone and show the QR code on their loyalty card. Step 2: Staff scans the QR code with a USB or Bluetooth scanner connected to Dotykacka. Alternatively, they can manually look up the customer by name, phone, or email via the "Select customer" button in the receipt header. Step 3: The Dotykacka screen immediately shows the customer with their current point, stamp, or discount-tier status. Step 4: Staff adds products as usual. Every product has a configured point count, visible right on the product tile (e.g., "Espresso +1" or "Cappuccino +3"). Step 5: If the customer is owed a reward or wants to spend points, staff adds the matching product before payment. Step 6: The customer pays. Dotykacka sends the order information to VEXiON. Step 7: VEXiON processes the points and automatically updates the card in the customer's wallet. The customer sees the new status on their card within seconds.

The whole flow from scanning to customer attachment takes just a few seconds.
Key takeaway
- Staff just scans the customer and rings up products; the rest is automatic
- Points and rewards are configured directly on products in Dotykacka
- The card on the phone updates immediately after payment
Four Types of Loyalty Cards
With the Dotykacka integration you can run four types of loyalty cards. Each works differently and suits a different business model.
1. Stamp Card — The Classic That Works
The customer collects stamps and, after collecting the set number, gets a product for free. The classic "10th coffee free".
How it works in practice:
In VEXiON cards you set up a card with the required stamp count (e.g., 10). In Dotykacka you assign every product a bonus-point count. Then you create a reward product, e.g., "Cappuccino FREE" with a price of €0 and points of -10. The negative number means stamps are deducted when the reward is redeemed.
Tip: The number of negative points on the reward must match the card's setting in VEXiON. A 10-stamp card = a reward product with -10.

Customers collect stamps automatically and, after reaching the count, earn a reward.
2. Points Card (Credit Cashback) — Points Turn into Euros
The customer earns points on every purchase. Points then convert into a discount in euros, and the customer chooses when and how many points to use.
How it works:
In Dotykacka you create a special product called "Use points" and set the price per point. We recommend €0.01, which gives a simple conversion: 100 points = €1. For each product you then set the bonus-point count matching the cashback percentage you want to offer. Points can be set quickly with bulk editing in Dotykacka.
Redeeming points at the register:
- Staff opens the "Rewards" category and adds "Use points"
- Enters the number of points the customer wants to use
- The system automatically computes the discount in euros
- The discount is subtracted from the bill

The customer chooses how many points to use
Ideal for: Restaurants, retail, wellness, services
3. Discount Card — Automatic Percentage Discount
The customer gets an automatic discount based on their tier. The more they spend, the higher the discount on the next purchase. You don't have to set up the discount card as a multi-tier loyalty program — it works just as well as a single-tier card for specific groups of people.
Multi-tier program (based on spend):
Single-tier program (for specific groups):
A single-tier card is useful when you want to offer a discount only to specific people and you control who gets the card. Combined with the referral program, you can even control who's allowed to invite further members.
How the setup works:
Tiers and discounts are set in the VEXiON card. VEXiON automatically creates discount groups in Dotykacka with names like VEXiON: Loyalty Card - Gold 15%. When the customer hits the required spend, they're automatically moved into the higher group without any manual intervention. At the register the discount applies by itself once staff attaches the customer to the receipt.

The discount applies automatically without any action from staff
Ideal for: Restaurants with regular guests, shops, salons, barbershops, employee programs
4. Gift Card — A New Revenue Stream
A gift card is prepaid credit. Someone buys it as a gift for someone else, and the recipient pays with it directly at the register. It works through Dotykacka's built-in customer credit.
Digital gift card:
- The customer scans a registration QR code at the location and fills a form on their phone (name and contact for the recipient)
- A temporary QR code appears; they show it to staff
- Staff scans the temporary code, loads the credit, and the customer pays
- The buyer gets a confirmation with a PDF; the recipient receives the card via SMS or the QR from the PDF
Physical gift card:
For venues that want to offer customers a classic physical card, we support that format too. Physical cards come with pre-generated QR codes printed on them and are inactive until the moment of sale. The whole flow works like this:
- The customer picks a physical gift card at the location
- Staff scans the QR code from the physical card at the register
- Enters the amount the customer wants to load
- The customer pays and the QR code activates
- The recipient shows the physical card at payment; staff scans the QR and the payment comes from the credit
The physical card activates only at the moment of payment, so before the sale it's completely safe. If the customer wants to top up the card later, they just scan the QR code again at the register.

The gift card activates at sale and the recipient pays directly from the credit
Bonus program: You can configure a bonus percentage. At a 10% bonus the customer pays €100 and gets €110 on the card. That motivates higher-value purchases.
Paying with a gift card: The recipient shows the QR code (on their phone or from the physical card), staff scans it, and at payment time picks "Customer credit" as the payment method. The amount is automatically deducted from the credit. If the credit doesn't cover the whole bill, the customer tops up the difference with cash or card.
More on gift cards in Digital gift cards 2026.
Ideal for: All venues, holidays, birthdays, corporate gifts
Key takeaway
- Stamp: collect stamps, get a free reward or prepaid bundle
- Credit Cashback: points = euros, the customer chooses when to use them
- Discount: automatic percentage discount, also works single-tier for employees or F&F
- Gift card: prepaid credit, digital and physical, optional bonus program
Referral Program: Customers Invite Friends
Every one of your customers can now share their loyalty card with friends via a personal referral QR code. It's right there on the back of their card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
How it works:
The friend scans the QR code, signs up, and on their first purchase both sides automatically get a reward — without staff having to handle anything. In VEXiON settings you simply set the reward size for both the referring customer and the new customer.
Example setups:
The referral program works with stamp, points, and discount cards. Gift and membership cards don't support it.

The customer finds their referral QR code right on the card in the wallet
For more on setting up the referral program and getting the most out of it, see The referral program for your customers.
Key takeaway
- Customers share the card via the QR code on the back
- Rewards are credited automatically after the invited friend's first purchase
- You set the reward amount for both sides
Multi-Cloud: One Loyalty Program for All Your Locations
If you own multiple locations where each has its own Dotykacka cloud with its own products and prices, Multi-Cloud lets you link all of them under a single VEXiON account.
When Do You Need Multi-Cloud?
Use Multi-Cloud if:
- You have, say, a bistro and a café, each with a different menu and prices
- Each location is a separate cloud in Dotykacka
- You want customers to collect points at every location onto one card
You don't need Multi-Cloud if:
- You have multiple registers in a single location — that's still one cloud
- All your branches have the same menu and prices in Dotykacka
If you're not sure how many clouds you have, log into Dotykacka Remote Management. At the top of the menu you'll see a single cloud or a list of clouds.
Note: VEXiON Multi-Cloud is a proprietary feature for linking multiple Dotykacka clouds to a single VEXiON account.
Setting Up Points for Each Cloud
Points are configured per cloud via Dotykacka Remote Management. The loyalty rules (card type, discount tiers) apply identically to every cloud. You can't have stamps in one cloud and cashback in another.
Key takeaway
- Customers collect points at every one of your locations onto a single card
- Available for Dotykacka accounts with integration support
- Loyalty program rules apply identically to every location
Integration Setup Step by Step
The whole setup takes 15 minutes. No technical skills needed.
What You Need to Start
- An active Dotykacka account with a license that supports integrations
- Access to Dotykacka Remote Management (admin.dotykacka.cz)
- An active VEXiON cards account (app.vexion.one)
- At least one loyalty card created in VEXiON
Step 1: Connect to Dotykacka
- Log into the VEXiON cards admin dashboard (app.vexion.one)
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Dotykacka
- Click "Connect to Dotykacka"
- A new window opens with Dotykacka login
- Enter your credentials, pick the cloud, and click "Allow"
- Close the window. The integration is connected.
Step 2: Configure Card Types in VEXiON
In the integration settings, enable only the card types you actually use:
Important: For stamp and points cards you pick either stamps or points, not both. Dotykacka uses a single shared field for both types.
Step 3: Set Points on Products in Dotykacka
This is the most important step. Without configured bonus points, customers earn nothing. Points are set directly in Dotykacka Remote Management per product or in bulk via the multi-edit feature.
Step 4: Create Special Products in Dotykacka
For stamp cards: Create a "Rewards" category with reward products priced at €0 and negative points (e.g., -10 for a 10-stamp card).
For points cards (Credit Cashback): Create a special "Use points" product and set the price per point to €0.01.
For gift cards: Activate customer credit in Dotykacka via Cloud settings.
Step 5: Enable Point Display at the Register
In Dotykacka go to App settings → Display settings → Sales screen and enable "Show points on the tile". Staff will see the point count right on every product.

Staff sees the point count right on every product tile
Step 6: Connect and Test the Scanner
Connect a USB or Bluetooth scanner to the tablet or register. We recommend the scanners supplied directly through VEXiON (see the starter manual in the box). Test the scanner by scanning the first customer card and check that the customer is correctly attached to the receipt.
Key takeaway
- Connection via Dotykacka login, no API keys
- Points are set in Dotykacka, not in VEXiON cards
- The whole setup takes 15 minutes
VEXiON + Dotykacka vs. Paper Cards
Key takeaway
- Digital cards eliminate all the classic problems of paper
- Customers always have the card on their phone and can't forget it
- Accurate data enables targeted marketing
Who Is the Integration Right For?
Cafés and Bakeries
The "10th coffee free" stamp card is a classic that works. Staff have no extra work. The customer shows their phone and the stamp is added automatically. For regulars you can also offer a prepaid bundle. Sourdough bakery Bloom Bakery with six locations in Bratislava, or specialty café grão in the city center, are examples of where the loyalty program works brilliantly.
Restaurants and Fast Food
Credit Cashback or a percentage discount for regulars. The customer earns points on every lunch and decides when to redeem. Restaurants like Pilsners with two Bratislava locations or Ty Somaru with Mexican street food show the integration works equally well in a classic restaurant or a fast-casual.
Retail and Cosmetics
A flexible cashback system motivates customers to return. Point values can be set per product. The Slovak cosmetics brand Face Derma is an example where the loyalty program helps build customer relationships outside the hospitality segment.
Hair Salons, Beauty Salons, Wellness
The discount card rewards regular clients automatically. For the team, offer an employee discount as a single-tier card with 20–30%.
Multiple Locations
Multi-Cloud lets a customer collect points at the bistro and the café under a single card in a single wallet. Bloom Bakery, for example, links six locations under one loyalty program.
Frequently Asked Questions
What Dotykacka license do I need?
The integration requires a Dotykacka license that supports third-party integrations. If you're not sure, check your license in the Dotykacka admin or reach out and we'll help verify.
Can I have stamps and points at the same time?
No. Dotykacka uses a single field in the system for both types. You choose either stamp cards (whole numbers) or points cards with cashback (decimal numbers). One simple program is easier for customers to understand.
How long does setup take?
The VEXiON cards to Dotykacka connection itself takes 5 minutes. Configuring points on products depends on the number of products — for most venues that's a total of 10–15 minutes.
Does the integration work during an internet outage?
Dotykacka works offline too. Transactions are stored locally and, once the connection is restored, are automatically sent to VEXiON. Gift cards (customer credit) do require a stable internet connection.
What if the customer doesn't have their phone with them?
Staff can look the customer up manually by name, phone, or email via the "Select customer" button right at the register. Points are added the same way.
Can I disconnect the integration without losing data?
Yes. If you disconnect the integration, customers, points, stamps, and customer credit stay in Dotykacka. They just stop syncing with VEXiON cards. To reconnect, log in again.
What do customers need to sign up?
The customer scans a registration QR code displayed at your location. They fill in name and email, confirm the email address, and the card is automatically added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. The whole thing takes about 30 seconds.
What is the referral program and do I need to configure something special?
The referral program lets your customers invite friends via the QR code on their card. In VEXiON cards settings you enable the feature and set the reward amount. The rest runs automatically. More in The referral program.
